Unionen – Motion Graphics Package
For several years, I worked with Unionen to create a Graphics Package for use both internally and by external suppliers. The work was divided into phases, where Phase 1 involved winning the pitch ;).
Creo secured the assignment with a well-executed design solution and clear technical documentation. In the next phase, we developed the most critical parts of the graphics package and demonstrated how everything could be built as Motion Graphics Templates (mogrt files), which were a relatively new feature at the time. These templates included my animations and transitions that could easily be applied to filmed material in Premiere Pro, without opening AfterEffects.
Unionen provided a master list of elements they needed immediately and a list of items we could add later.
My role was to design, animate, and program all the various elements, then export 38 different templates and test them together with the client.
Results
The outcome was highly successful, and despite a few challenging phases, we launched the graphics package and even used it ourselves when creating videos for Unionen.
All the animation templates were developed in 1:1 and 16:9 formats. The following year, I delivered updates, additional elements, and provided support for its use. An instructional video was also produced to clearly explain how the package works.
Thanks to the animated logo and the user-friendly graphics package, Unionen’s communication became more cohesive and professional. The value is hard to quantify, but for me personally, it was an extremely rewarding project—even though I essentially managed it independently after the initial team was phased out following the first phase.
I received positive feedback from the client, who was very pleased with my contributions.

The design work was rooted in Unionen’s identity as primarily the union for office employees. We playfully experimented with various office items and environments to ground the design process. Ultimately, we settled on paper and Post-it notes to evoke a more analog and tactile aesthetic.
