Reaching targets with animated infomercial
Role: Design Lead, Illustrator and Animator
Client: City of Stockholm (Stockholms Stad)
Challenge: Prioritized Communication for a Specific Demographic
The City of Stockholm required an effective way to communicate vital information regarding summer employment opportunities to young people in the Tensta-Rinkeby area. The project demanded a balance between pedagogical clarity and a visual style that resonated with the target audience.

Solution: End-to-End Creative Execution and Script Development
I managed the full project lifecycle, ensuring the client’s objectives were translated into a functional animated format.
- Collaborative Scripting: I worked closely with the client to develop a narrative centered on a relatable protagonist securing their first job.
- Full-Cycle Production: As the sole lead for illustration and animation, I maintained creative control and technical consistency from initial sketches to final rendering.
- Client Advisory: My early-stage guidance and process management earned the clients trust, leading to a streamlined approval process during the primary production phase.
Navigating Last-Minute Complexity
At the final stage of animation, a new stakeholder introduced critical changes, requiring a new voice-over and additional illustrations. This posed a significant risk to the project timeline.
- Systemic File Organization: Due to a highly structured and modular approach to the working files, I was able to integrate these late-stage changes with minimal delay.
- Crisis Management: The organized infrastructure of the project allowed for a rapid pivot, meeting the deadline despite the mid-project changes in requirements.
Impact & Business Value
- Timeline Recovery: Minimized the financial and temporal impact of late-stage stakeholder interference through operational discipline.
- Target Reach: Successfully delivered a tailored infographic animation for a high-priority demographic within the city’s recruitment initiative.
